Sealants

PTS – E-101, PTS – E-101SL, E-102 is a single component sealant for fast curing in cold climate conditions. High Performance DAMP and DRY, COLD AND HOT wide range application ability provides the versatility to seal joints in inclimate weather down to 30°F ( do not apply below 30°F).  PTS E-101 will not gas, bubble or lose gunning-ability during the diverse application demands of the construction industry throughout even in wet and damp conditions.  PTS E-101 will cure in dry or low humidity and wet or moist environments.  Combined with the ability to function and form good adhesion a variety of atmospheric conditions, PTS E-101 exhibits the capability of gaining good adhesion to an outstanding number of substrates without Ultra-Violet sun-tanning in lighter colors.   The PTS Sealants should not be applied in standing water without specific written consent from PSI.   Special Colors are available for a minimum 90 gallon batch at an extra color.  Stand Colors are White, Tan, Gray, Medium Bronze , Limestone and Black.   Non Standard Stock Colors of Dark Bronze, Brick Red, Environmental Green and Clear are available with a 6 weeks advanced notice.

PTS E-101 complies with the SCAQMD and all of the air quality requirements of all states within the USA. It bonds to wood, metal, aluminum, painted steel, masonry, slate, clay tile, asphalt shingles and most other common construction substrates where sealants are designed to perform with proper joint design.

The application of joint sealants in a variety of atmospheric conditions does not remove the requirements for the substrate to be clean and free from dirt, oil and other contaminates that may interfere adhesion, proper joint design and installation techniques.  The Sealant, Waterproofing, Roofing Institute (SWRI) supplies educational materials for successful sealant application procedures.

PTS E-101 conforms to TTS-00230C Class A, Type II, Canadian Spec, CAN 19, 13-M82, and ASTM C920 at room temperature. The New PTS E-101 is cutting edge technological products to meet the diverse demands of the waterproofing industry in the 21st century.
